No Sequel To Grinch Says Director
Despite its massive success director RON HOWARD won't make a sequel to his JIM CARREY comedy THE GRINCH.
The popular film maker says there is "no chance" of him being part of a GRINCH II - and is surprised that his seasonal movie, the biggest grossing film in America last year (00), was such a success. He says, "We always knew that UNIVERSAL's marketing would be good. But it's the repeat business that's the pleasant surprise. "The movie works because of Jim Carrey's performance, and the time of the year. But another one? No." (CPT/WNWDN)
